Inspiration: “This Sacred Land”

Treading across an expanse of ice that freezes deep aquamarine lakes, thickets of snow climb and stretch as far as the eye can see. This is a place where sacred silence stills the senses. Nakoda’s white luminous base intertwines with intricate forms and beautiful veins that criss-cross over the stark stone. Inspired by Jasper National Park in Canada, this surface is a marriage of the natural charcoal stone found there and a hint of the green and flurry.

On a sunny day the peaks and valleys glow brilliantly, in perfect contrast to the myriad of shady nooks that cascade across the horizon. With a unique twist, Nakoda’s patterns of charcoal veins, tipped with the subtlest green bring a bold and unexpected choice to modern spaces, a centerpiece for minimal designs or bolder interior visions.
